Philosophy
At Reflections Nursery, our philosophy draws its inspiration from the work of the internationally renowned early childhood centres of the city of Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy.
We aim to provide an interesting, stimulating and safe environment where children are happy to express their creativity, enjoy positive respectful relationships, grow in self-confidence and delight in the joy of learning.
The impressive Grade II listed building, and its mature, walled garden which houses Reflections Nursery is a wonderful creative learning environment in which to promote children's curiosity, communication and imagination.
Children of all ages are involved in activities, appropriate to their stage of development, that engage their interest and develop their skills and dispositions for learning.
Creative expression is fostered through the provision of interesting, open-ended natural and reclaimed resources, light boxes and mirrored equipment and access to a studio area.
Long term projects provide opportunities for exploration and investigation, teamwork and co-operation and give children time to consolidate their learning.
